Online Orders

It is the consumer’s responsibility to understand what they are ordering when using the online system. We have provided many online photo resources and descriptions to help you during your order. Please read these descriptions carefully. If you are unsure about what your order will look like or if you would like assistance placing your order, please call Chop Block customer service at 1-800-906-8332 for assistance.

About Manufacturing & Shipping Lead Times

All of our handmade products take varying times to produce, please See Current Lead Times.  The standard shipping Method for our products is ground, which typically takes 1-5 business days until the order is delivered anywhere within the continental United States.  Alaska, Hawaii, and all international order will have a longer shipping time.

All orders that have to go Freight will be delivered curbside.  In some cases, where the crate is too large to be unloaded using the lift gate on the back of the UPS Trucks, the customer will need to pick the crate up at the local HUB.  It is the consumer’s responsibility to arrange for delivery beyond the curb or to pick up at the local HUB.

*Please note that most packages weighing less than 150 lbs. may arrive using one of the following methods: UPS, USPS, FED EX. Packages weighing over 150 lbs. may arrive via freight truck.

Shipping Address

Please provide a physical address to ship your custom-made block.   If you need to change this address once the order has been placed, please contact us prior to your order shipping and we will gladly update your shipping address.  If you contact us once your order has left our facility to request a different shipping address, we will do what we can to ensure this change is made but cannot guarantee delivery to that address.   There is a Re-Route Fee for this and it will increase the shipping time so please try and make sure that we have the correct shipping address prior to your order leaving our facility.

Holding Orders

Orders cannot be placed on hold.  If you are not going to be available to receive your order you can call us prior to it leaving and provide us with an alternative address to ship it to. You may call once it has left our facility and re-route it to an alternative address, please be aware that there is a charge to re-route your shipment.

Cancellation Policy

All orders can be cancelled by the end of the next business day without a cancellation fee.  Orders canceled after the next business day are subject to a 20% cancellation fee.  Orders can only be cancelled by calling into our Toll Free 1-800-906-8332 number; any other form of cancellation will not be considered official. Orders must also be cancelled by the customer whose name is on the order. Anyone acting on behalf of the original customer must be able to prove that they are working in the explicit interests of the original customer.

Change Orders

All changes that need to be made to an existing order need to be made before the end of the next business day after placing the order, this must be done over the phone by the person that placed the order (no other form of communication will be accepted). All Changes made to an order after the next business day following placing the order will incur a 20% Change Order Fee. Please understand that these custom made products often begin to be manufactured the day following order placement and can result in wasted product when changes are submitted.


Each and every Chop Block order is a made to order product and is considered custom-made and as such is not returnable with no warranty.  If in the rare case that we did not manufacture your custom block as you ordered, we are happy correct our error within the first 30 days of delivery.  Please inspect your block upon arrival to ensure that you have adequate time to notify us of any problems.  Chop Bloc Cutting Boards reserves the right to replace any item returned with a replacement model of comparable value or offer a refund for original price of product. Due to the nature of wood there can be slight color/tonal differences from one piece of wood to another. These differences are natural and contribute to the beauty of our product which is why no refund will be issued based on these variations. Custom products are not returnable.

Product Substitution

In the event that your specific product is no longer available, ChopBlocCuttingBoards.com reserves the right to substitute the part with a comparable product in quality, style and color.

Privacy Policy
Chop Bloc takes the privacy of its customers’ data very seriously. Please read the following policy to understand how we will treat your personal data after it has been collected by us through your use of this website. We can collect data on you from a variety of different sources, these include:

When you purchase products or services from the site or via any of our other distribution channels.
When you become a subscriber.
When you enter data into a form on the website.
When you speak to our customer services personnel.
When you activate your product via our License Activation Server, via explicit data capture measures, for example by entering competitions, completing surveys, registering products, registering to use the support forum.

When you buy anything via the site or give us any personal data as indicated above, we may need to collect information about you to process the transaction, fulfill your order and provide you with the services you expect then and in the future. Unless we have your express consent we will only disclose personal data to third parties if this is required for the purpose of completing your transaction with us. This is of course subject to the proviso that we may disclose your data to certain permitted third parties, such as members of our own group, our own professional advisers who are bound by confidentiality codes, and when we are legally obliged to disclose your data. By becoming a subscriber, you consent to receive from us by email our eNewsletters and details of other special offers or services which we may think may be of interest to you. Chop Bloc retains and uses your personal information to provide you with the remote commerce (including electronic and mobile commerce) experience by providing you with a personalized service and to give you details of offers which we think will be of interest to you and keep you informed of changes to products, services, licenses agreements, terms, conditions, and security updates. Public Information; Forum, Guestbook, Directories
By their very nature the Forum, Guestbook, Listing Directories, etc. are open to the public, and any information given will be viewable to the general public. Chop Bloc does make every effort to keep details such as email addresses private, but if you do select to have your email address shown it will be viewable by the general public.

Children’s Privacy
Chop Bloc is committed to keeping the details of children private by following the guidelines set out in the US, C.O.P.P.A Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
Chop Bloc does not collect private information from children under the age of 13 without written permission from the child’s parents of guardians.

Chop Bloc may use small bits of data stored on your computer called ‘cookies’.

These terms and conditions together with any documents expressly referred to in them, contain the entire Agreement between us relating to the subject matter covered and supersede any previous Agreements, arrangements, undertakings or proposals, written or oral: between us in relation to such matters. No oral explanation or oral information given by any party shall alter the interpretation of these terms and conditions. In agreeing to these terms and conditions, you have not relied on any representation other than those expressly stated in these terms and conditions and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any misrepresentation which has not been made expressly in this Agreement.
